The old version 5.0 is already retired!
I downloaded the trial version 5.0 and it works fine. If you're using a newer version (5.1 for example), that might be the problem.
To test, open the Student Edition and download the full version. If it doesn't work, the issue may be on your end.

PhoneGap and emulators
I am trying to get my first PhoneGap application working on both the iOS and Android Emulators and I am having a little bit of trouble with the Android one. When I launch the emulator it launches fine but the app crashes when I try to go to any page that is hosted on my server.
I believe the problem is with the url that I am using for my remote server on my index.html file but I am a little stumped as to what I should be using instead. I am not too familiar with PhoneGap at all so any help is appreciated.
